Hmm somehow it is now weeks since my last post!  

Things have been a bit crazy in my world.  Daisy the dog has joined our family and suddenly I find myself running out of time to do anything!!  I have just completed a few projects that have had me stressed out over the last few weeks, and now all my travel plans are set and booked and paid for, I have little else to worry about.

Daisy, while hard work, has really helped to brighten up my world.  She is attentive, funny, clever and insanely cuddly.  With the beginnings of winter finally starting to dawn on us, she has helped keep my depression at bay and is also making sure I get out of the house and fill my lungs with fresh air and laughter.  While work has its stresses and I am not very happy there at the moment, and I still have my sad moments (usually just before bed these days) I find just 10 minutes with puppy and it all doesn’t seem so bad anymore.  I see a much easier winter ahead! And a very spoiled puppy… hehe

I have been struggling to get back into my eating plan and consequently keep putting on weight.  However I have been making a huge effort to get my 10000+ steps a day in and that seems to be helping.  My weight might have gone up but my body fat % has come down.  Yay for the small good things!!  Now just to get past my stupid sore knee and get back to the gym to do my strength training and then eat properly and I should start seeing results quickly!  Now to find the motivation… Maybe it’s hiding under the couch somewhere??
